Privacy Policy

Privacy is important to us at Sunriver Books & Music.  That said, using a website involves sharing information. Also we offer various information from our physical store that also involves information sharing (newsletters, book club lists, etc.).

First on the website.

 The American Bookseller’s Association hosts our website.  They are a dedicated, careful group of people.  I hold them in the highest regard.  In order to make the system work, cookies are used.  By using this site you are agreeing to the use of cookies.

In order to process transactions, it is necessary for you to provide your name, address, phone number, and email address.  If you are paying with a credit card on the site, the credit card information is also necessary. 

If you are looking at the information on the site, (books, upcoming events, etc.) that can be done anonymously without sharing personal information.  If you are ordering on the site, it needs information to process the order.

You can register on our site to have your information saved.  It is also possible for you to sign up for a newsletter, or Indie Next list information. 

Private information, your phone number and email address, will only be used to update you on the status of your order or provide any newsletters you signed up to receive. 

We do not sell. exchange, or transfer any of your information to other companies.

The American Bookseller’s Association is a careful host of websites for booksellers across the nation.  The website uses a secure server.  Credit Card information is processed using SSL technology (Secure Socket Layer) and then encrypted into our payment gateway provider’s database where it is used to complete the transaction by only those authorized to use the system.
