William Sullivan

William Sullivan is one of Oregon's premiere authors of hiking books. In addition to his hiking books he has written an excellent memoir, Listening for Coyote, and a light mystery, Einstein's Violin, that takes place in Eugene Oregon and all over Europe. He also has two historical fictions, A Deeper Wild and The Ship in the Hill. William Sullivan has hiked EVERY major hiking trail in the state of Oregon and he updates his books frequently so you know you can count on his guides. He has also written my personal favorite guide book for traveling in Oregon, Trips and Trails, it has hikes, flower guides, animal guides, parks, and places to stay. Pick up a William Sullivan guide book and you will not be disappointed
