Michael Malone

Michael Malone is the quintessential Renaissance man, very multi talented. He is best known as an award winning screen writer, and successful New York Times bestselling author, among his many awards are an Emmy and an Edgar. He is also a respected professor of Theater Studies at Duke University. Oh, and by the way, he is very funny too. The Four Corners of the Sky, Michael Malone's latest book, is loaded full of southern exuberance and just sheer fun! The US Government, con men, a dysfunctional family (big time dysfunctional) and an earnest young pilot are all gleefully shaken together with a masterful touch, creating a story that careens along at the pace of an F14 (fast). Time's Witness must be one of the top five mysteries ever written. Pick it ups sometime and read the opening paragraph, it is powerful. All of his books are written with a love language, intricate plots, engaging characters and a seasoning of humor. On top of being outrageously talented, Michael Malone is a wonderfully nice man. We were honored to have him appear at Sunriver Books & Music, we hope he returns often.
