Darin Furry is used to explaining the natural wonders of Central Oregon, he gave presentations at the fabulous High Desert Museum. Beyond Sagebrush is full of fascinating detail about Central Oregon's geology, flora and fauna. Central Oregon is full of astonishing geologic formations. Look at the Newberry Caldera! Or how about Smith Rock? We are surrounded by beauty and wonder. Right outside our doors are canyons, craggy rocks, tall white mountains, high desert plateaus, meadows, and rivers. That is a lot of nature to admire right here in Central Oregon. He will explain the geology, plants, and animals of Central Oregon.
