God hasn't had a new Best Seller in 1400 years. It is time to set the record straight on a few things. God decides to speak to 50 year old non-descript Bob. The first conversation is a bit strained. Bob is stressed when he starts hearing voices; he is not reassured when the voice claims to be the Almighty. God is bored with doing that whole change the stick into a snake thing just to prove his identity. They get past the initial conversation and create The Book of Bob. A whole new religion springs up. Meanwhile the Leader of the Free World is having problems of his own. He accidentally bombs the wrong country, Borak and Boran sound so much alike. He has real trouble with those pesky foreign names. His Minister of Religion insists we all be the same religion, he thinks bringing back burning at the stake is a fine idea. Paul Chasman's book is hilarious political satire.
